Disciples Women's Ministry (DWM) will meet Wednesday October 8 at 10 am in the Chapel for a short meeting, devotion by Martha Schmidt, and special presentation by Michelle Shannon DeMoss from Blair Socks followed by a Fiesta Luncheon in the Friendship Classroom. The cost for the Luncheon is $8, and reservations can be made by calling Betty Langton on her home phone (816-373-0056) and leaving a message or emailing bettylangton31@gmail.com.by Sunday October 5. The service project this month is Blair's Foster Socks which FCCI DWM has supported in the past. Their mission is to provide hope and comfort to children living in distressed situations through a simple, but effective means: providing clean, fun socks and scholarships in our community and beyond. Hope indeed comes in pairs!  All women are invited as we continue to study, serve and seek the Lord while enjoying a great luncheon during the Fall Season by celebrating the splendid autumn landscape.
